The Swiss BatchMan user meeting took place on 15.11.2018. It was a successful day full of exciting topics in one of the most beautiful locations in Zurich, the Widder Hotel.
New BatchMan Report Functions and S/4HANA Certification
The HONICO team presented all the innovations and trends around our BatchMan products, which greatly simplify everyday work in background processing. Everything worth knowing about the SAP S/4HANA certification, ABAP in the Cloud, possibilities in Cloud Scheduling, and new report options were presented here. With the object comparison report in BatchMan, customers can compare objects between SAP systems, e.g. in the quality and production system. Furthermore, a new report has been added that makes the dependencies of objects visible and exportable to Excel for business departments.
Automated System Copy, BatchMan SAP Fiori App and Webservices with BatchMan
Mr. Stefan Dunsch, Head of Professional Services SAP Technology of our Swiss partner Itesys, presented a solution with which the complex task of system copying is fully automated and controlled via BatchMan and File & DataManager.
We also had two very interesting customer presentations: Mr. Benjamin Krencker, Team Leader SAP Development & Operations of Emmi Switzerland AG, showed the BatchMan Monitoring App. What started as a HONICO project at the last user day in Switzerland in 2016, the Emmi team further developed the app. Thus, SAP Basis employees not only can monitor the BatchMan processes online via the monitoring at any time, but can also intervene in critical jobs in SAP Fiori through actions such as skipping, stopping, starting, etc. In addition, the user can access the graphical networks in BatchMan and the display the job documentation down to the individual job level. An innovative app that saves time and increases employee responsiveness.
Mr. Carsten Heins from the SAP BI Center at Beiersdorf Shared Services showed us how Beiersdorf controls 20 SAP systems and 4 nonSAP systems with one BatchMan Master. The presentation of how Beiersdorf triggers the ticket system via web services in BatchMan was particularly impressive.
Many thanks to all Participants and Speakers!
The interesting presentations during the user training gave many impulses for exciting discussions between our customers and the HONICO team. It has once again shown how important the exchange beyond the digital world is in the real world.
Special thanks to our great speakers Mr. Heins (Beiersdorf), Mr. Krencker (Emmi) and Mr. Dunsch (Itesys): It was an honor and a pleasure!
We are looking forward to the next meeting with our users!
See you soon!
