HANSA-FLEX AG achieves time savings in background processing of over 50%

A Long Partnership: The Road from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA

After the introduction of SAP at HANSA-FLEX AG in 2008, the company initially worked without a special tool for controlling jobs. However, the business requirements quickly increased and a solution was sought that could easily control batch processing. The choice fell on BatchMan from HONICO: the solution was convincing both in terms of the range of functions and the price-performance ratio. Since 2012, HANSA-FLEX has been using BatchMan to control all background processing. In 2021, a smooth switch to SAP S/4 HANA was completed. Since then, BatchMan Release 5.1.4 has been in use.

Smooth job processing despite tight time windows

Night processing at HANSA-FLEX was becoming more and more demanding and the available time window was getting tighter. Fortunately, BatchMan enables extremely convenient management and execution of job processing. BatchMan controls all relevant background processes, such as the MRP run, etc. On ordinary days BatchMan manages about 30,000 jobs, while at the end of the month it is significantly more.
